This is the day that we closed on our current house, a nice little ranch in Westerville, Ohio. I would guess that this is the genesis of our adoption saga, as when a newly married couple purchases a home, they do so with the intentions of starting a family. I was actually not too keen on this, as I have a daughter, Sage, from a previous marriage. This is of course unfair and selfish, and Rani and I soon began to discuss starting a family. We kind of lazily thought about it and really didn't set anything in stone. She was going to school full time to finish her B.A. in History and things were a little crazy for the time being.
